Projects

Your support to AMP DEVELOPPEMENT will help to finance activities that aim to address the root causes of public health issues and to build local health capacity. You can make a general donation to help AMP meet its operating costs, sponsor a local office in Africa or Asia, fund scientific conferences, or finance specific positions within AMP.

You can also make a donation to specific projects including, for example:

VACCINOLOGY RESEARCH

LABOMOBIL©

Your gift to LaboMobil© will help to deploy all-terrain mobile laboratories for the rapid identification of epidemics in remote areas in sub-Saharan Africa. Quick diagnosis means reduced delays in implementing appropriate outbreak responses.

VACCINOLOGY RESEARCH CENTER

Donations to a new vaccinology research center in Burkina Faso will help to educate the next generation of African “vaccinologists” and to carry out local studies on immunization and vaccines. Having a strong evidence base of the scientific reality on the ground is critical to develop appropriate health interventions.

HUMAN RESOURCES FOR HEALTH

TRAINING FOR AFRICAN HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

Having an adequate number of well-trained health workers is critical to improve countries' ability to provide life-saving health interventions. Your gift can enable district-level doctors in sub-Saharan Africa to participate in EPIVAC©, a unique, one-year, on-the-job training and degree program.

EPIVAC ALUMNI NETWORK

Donate funds to help EPIVAC alumni from all over sub-Saharan Africa set up an advisory and research network based in Côte d’Ivoire. With unique knowledge of local immunization challenges, network members can provide valuable services to health stakeholders and decision makers in the region.

IMMUNIZATION SERVICES STRENGTHENING

LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Donations in this area support projects to tackle managerial and logistical challenges related to the supply chain. That means getting vaccines to the right place, at the right time, and in the right conditions.
